Welcome to Zend!
At the start of this year, Zend added a new member to its team: Amy Anderson as the Director of Business Development. Amy will be focused on all aspects of IBM, but a big part of her job is driving more use of Zend Server on IBM i.
And that’s just fine for Amy: she joins Zend from IBM, where she spent 10 years working in the IBM i team. She has a background in DB2 performance and business resiliency, and has worked with IBM partners for the last 7 years. She currently lives in Rochester, Minnesota, the home of IBM i. You can find her on LinkedIn, or Twitter.
Other IBM i experts at Zend:
If you don’t already know Mike Pavlak – he has been working with IBM midrange solutions since 1992 and IBM mainframes before that. After years of developing applications using RPG, CL, and PHP, he managed IT development and IT for power protection manufacturer Tripp Lite. Mike joined Zend Technologies as a solutions consultant working with the i5 sales team in 2008 and enjoys helping IBM i customers explore PHP as a state of the art solution for application modernization. Mike Pavlak is also a technical editor for iPro Developer.
Follow Mike’s blog for latest IBMi related news and events.
In addition, Zend has enlisted the support of Roy Caudill as the IBM i Senior Account Executive with a primary focus on all things IBM i. Roy is working closely with Mike Pavlak in supporting new sales of Zend Server on IBM i. As you visit local trade shows or have questions please enlist the assistance of Roy who seems to magically reach Mike when no one else can. You can email Roy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him directly at (408)253-8834.
