Zend is pleased to announce that Zend Server, the leading PHP Application Platform, is now integrated with the new VMware vCloud Automation Center 6.0, and a Zend Server Blueprint is available on the new VMware Cloud Management Marketplace.
As part of a suite of announcements that VMware made today at VMworld 2013 in Barcelona, the Zend Server Blueprint enables clients to easily implement the combination of vCloud Automation Center and the Zend Server Application Platform to automate key steps in the Continuous Delivery process. You can learn more about Zend’s point of view and best practices for Continuous Delivery here, including access to the Zend Pattern for Infrastructure Automation with VMware vCloud Automation Center.
VMware’s vCloud Automation center enables any key IT process to be created as a service. Within that, the Zend Server platform provides automation of core capabilities for PHP application delivery, such as automated application deployment, clustering and high availability and core application management capabilities. The combination of both products enables a client to create IT services which are automatically provisioned on demand from a service catalog and include Zend Server as part of the foundation for those services.
“Using Zend Server with VMware provides our clients with the agility they need to deliver high-availability, scalable, enterprise-class PHP applications. This solution enables automated provisioning and continuous delivery of applications, enabling our clients to reach the goal of agile application delivery.”
The Zend Server blueprint can be found in the VMware Cloud Management Marketplace.
