Here’s the key question – while we are all familiar with the concepts and methods of agile development, how do we take that same mindset and approach, and apply it to the end to end delivery of our applications? How do we deliver our apps all the way to the market with a rapid, iterative and collaborative approach?
At this year’s PHP 2013 conference (starting October 7th), we will put a focus on agile delivery. Continuous Delivery is one of the next frontiers for most companies to implement – and we’ll be getting into detail not just in the opening keynote on Tuesday, but in sessions throughout the conference. For example, the keynote panel on Thursday will address how to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery in the real world – with a focus on what actually works (and what isn’t worth your time).
We have some great sponsors at the conference who focus on devops and cloud integration, and will come ready to talk about how to automate your environment, including IBM as Platinum and VMware as Gold sponsors.
Plus, Zend will be offering no-charge agility assessments (looking at how far your team is on the journey to continuous delivery) to our clients whose developers attend this year’s conference.
I’ve shared this before – but this October’s event will be the biggest ZendCon to date, and it promises to be valuable to all who attend!
