Due to a combination of increasing new Zend Server sales, a burgeoning channel partner program and expanded international presence, Zend, the PHP Company, is experiencing continued year-over-year growth. In the past six months, Zend has onboarded a number of important new customers, at home and around the world including HealthPlan Holdings, Callcredit Information Group in the U.K., Citizen Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU), Mission Produce, Saputo Foods, and Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund. As a result, in the first six months of 2013 Zend has experienced over 40 percent growth in enterprise subscription revenue.
New Zend customers are experiencing a range of benefits, such as reduced time to market and agile delivery for their new applications. “Zend considerably reduced our development time, so that end users can see their applications go into production much more quickly than before,” said systems analyst Rogério Machado Mendonça at Marilan, one of Brazil’s largest biscuit manufacturers that sells to more than 70 countries. “Our server management has become much more transparent with Zend Server. We didn’t even have to hold an initial training because Zend’s tools were so easy to use.”
“Business requirements are changing rapidly and PHP is helping organizations deliver applications fast,” said Siddhartha Agarwal, Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Zend. “This year more than ever, we’re supporting agile development to deploy and deliver enterprise grade reliability our users expect.”
“We are receiving really positive feedback from developers about the features that Zend Server 6 offers them, in particular some of the advanced troubleshooting and debugging that is now available to developers in the free edition,” said Elaine Lennox, Chief Marketing Officer at Zend. “Overall, the increasing interest in PHP and Zend’s offerings is reflected in the huge interest we’ve seen this year for the ZendCon and ZendCon Europe conferences, where we expect to see the largest-ever attendance to date.”
